Hi,
We`ve just noticed, in our landing pages section, the number 1 landing page is the home page, but usually this is represented by a /  (forward slash) But, we`ve got the full URL present as shown in the image (name intentionally deleted out.  Has anyone seen this before or know why it`s happening, has us puzzled?

  • Matt Raynes: Hi,

  • Federico Sasso: I notice there is a backslash / before the www; may be it's an inbound broken link?
  • Matt Raynes: That's actually a forward slash, they appear before all the URL paths in the landing page section in GA.  ;Usually, there's only a forward slash that represents the home page, but here we're getting the entire URL.  ;
  • Federico Sasso: Yes, correct, it's a forward slash.
    My point is there might be an inbound link in the form http[://]www[.]...[.co.uk]/www[.]...[.co.uk]
    (please ignore the brackets, they are an awkward attempt to disable the G+ link)
    You might verify on Search Console whether there are 404 to a local path like /www...
