For press release sites, for how many sites should the same content be used?

Hi friends, for press release how many sites the same content to be used? for article submission it should be unique.so we submitted in only one sites.for press release also like that??

  • John Pitcher: My understanding is that Google now views press releases as adverts - and therefore links should be nofollowed and not contain anchor text.

    You can get benefit from press releases if people pick up on them and link to you, but the actual press release itself is no use for SEO.

    Whilst I've not seen any direct guidelines on unique content, from a press release site's viewpoint, would you want to have lots of duplicate content posts in today's anti-spam age? Personally, I would write one press release and - if it didn't get any useful results - review your content and the press release and submit a unique angle in a future release.
  • Muthulakshmi S: Thanks John for your suggestions...I also feel the same thing.But colleague of mine said press release is different.So post in multiple sites.Now I will post in single sites.
