  • Edwin Jonk: It is a patent filled on 28 September 2012 where one the inventors is Navneet Panda. So that suggest it is about the Panda update. Like all patents it may not look/work the same as stated in the patent nor does it mean Google is using it. But it does give information about how Google engineers think and how it might work... ;
