Do you even need to bother optimising H1 tag?

Hey guys, what is SEO best practice with h1 tag on ecommerce homepages? Do you even need to bother optimising it.

Masum AK: -Use only one H1 per page-Keep H1 tags short (55-60 char)-Include your target keyword

Adam J. Humphreys: H1 for the product page and use CSS for rem for font size. Use synonym alternate from title so you can rank for variations of the same word for the same product where possible. Great content with the word in there if possible but you donâ€™t need to stuff once is enough assuming thereâ€™s a moderately decent write up.
