Do I need an xml sitemap as well as a html sitemap?

  I would like to ask that is it necessary to have all blog posted urls to be shown in the xml sitemap as well as in html sitemap? My website doesn't have, but if it is imperative then I'll surely implement it.  ;

  Tim Capper: Agreed, not necessary as googlebot will find them eventually, just nice to point googlebot in the right direction

  Dave Elliott: if you are making whole sale changes on your site then change the sitemap.(content or url structure)
  
  If you feel that the new page is very important or you are really trying to use it as part of a campaign, then update your site map.
  
  If it is time sensitive(i.e about an event that is happening on the weekend) then update your site map.
  
  If none of these applies, who really cares. Google will find it soon enough and its worth baring in mind that there are quicker ways of getting things indexed, liked posting a link up on g+ or you could use the fetch as googlebot/submit functions in webmaster tools, which will do the same job, although obviously these wont help you getting indexed in bing!
