Do any of you know of any reputable business directories and/or communities for (white hat) link building?

Hi Guys. Do any of you know of any reputable business directories and/or communities for (white hat) link building. I work mostly for SMEs across a variety of verticals (eg insurance, Construction etc) and they have little in the way of brand marketing and low quality back link profiles. An Australia/New zealand slant would be useful as that is where I am based.

I want to stress that I`m not looking for anything spammy.

al morris: Hi Laurie, google business directories in your area? I'm in Ireland and there's about 6 or 7 in my area so there should be quite a few in Oz / NZ.
Laurie Turnbull: Hi +al morris ;- sometimes the simplest solutions are the best! I guess I was looking for some positive referrals as I really want to avoid any dodgy sites. ;
Yasser Mohamed: Hi +al morris I used the site below to find some really good business listings in Australia, there are a few for NZ as well. We can't put links here but the page name is "Best Local Citation Sources by Industry" and it is by TVS Internet Marketing dot com It might be a good place to start and get a few ideas from. I have found most of the listings to be really high quality and they are actually there to get you more business not just to link farm. ; I am actually starting to get inquiries - this was the surprise bonus for me!! LOL If you have trouble locating the page let me know and I will PM you the link.
