Rand Wilson: For now, I say it's urban legend.. but it may be starting to take form.. so, check back in 2-3 years.
Hasan Ar?kan: Just as i thought. So you say it might be but further away... Thanks anyway Rand.
Simon Fryer: We don't have any conclusive information about "author rank" at the moment, although there have been some studies that show correlation/impact. The difficulty is that it's tied so closely to personalised results, so it's never going to be a clear metric.

I'd say it's far more than an urban legend at this point though.
Hasan Ar?kan: thanks for this clearly explanation Simon. This personalised results effect is getting more complicated everyday. Only thing that we can do is wait and see, i guess...
