Antivirus and IP Blocking

Can antivirus software such as `Kaspersky` - (Other well-known anti-virus software available) cause your own hosting server (on your own website) to block your IP - ie when working on the website via logged in (from own computer) at Wordpress admin or logged in via CPanel the anti-virus scans the port? from hosting company "might be that antivirus firewall scanning server ports hence your server IP getting blocked by server firewall."
