Dave Elliott: Have a look on the big jobsites for those job roles. It varies a lot though!
Neil Hannam: The general skillset is likely to be the same for both levels but what will make you stand out is experience. As +Dave Elliott said check the job boards for the skillsets employers are looking for.

Having just recently moved into a full time SEO role I think the key thing employers are looking for is that you have a good understanding of the principles and best practices and are able to show positive results of work you've done.

If you're new to this field and therefore haven't got commercial experience, having a personal site or blog where you've employed the techniques is a great way to show an undertsanding, the ability to apply techniques and a history of results you've produced. It also demonstrates a genuine interest in the industry even if you've yet to break into it.
