Sub Domain or Sub Folder?

I am working with a company offering jobs in Middle east. The site has got sub folders for different country views like www.abc.com/kuwait, www.abc.com/qatar etc. My doubt is, which will be more seo friendly sub domain or sub folders as it is now. We are not getting a stable result. Thanks in advance.

  • Dave Elliott: Folders. Always folders.
  • Nishad S.L: Thank you very much +Dave Elliott. I have another doubt. Which one one will be easy for seo promotion http://www.abc.com/en/Kuwait/ (the home page for kuwait) or http://www.abc.com/Search/Job-Vacancies-in-Kuwait (the inner page of kuwait vacancies). The result URL is always varying i mean few days it showing the home page (http://www.abc.com/en/Kuwait/), few times the inner page (http://www.abc.com/Search/Job-Vacancies-in-Kuwait). So which one will be the best choice for getting best and fast seo result? Thanks in advance.
  • Dave Elliott: Urls dont really matter that much anymore. What is the difference in terms of content and purpose between the pages? The answer to which one will rank better tends to be 'the one users find most useful'
  • Nishad S.L: thank u very much +Dave Elliott
