  • Tim Capper: No

The title for home page would be just brand name, there is no harm but looks weird.

ABC - High Quality Unicorn Tears

At ABC we produce high quality unicorn tears, when Jim Munroe mentions the disavow tool.
  • Tech Blog Corner: +Tim Capper from your above example of title and description for abc.com website ..m still not getting the clear reason not use the brand name. as you have already used. but you said NO. which confuses us . please give some clear light on it..would be appreciated.

    thanks,

  • Tim Capper: Sorry your question read to me, should we use ABC.com , as in the Domain name

    I thought you meant EG

ABC.com - ;High Quality Unicorn Tears

So, looking at what you have now asked.

I would add Brand name into the Title.

ABC - High Quality Unicorn Tears

The reason for this, is that for you home page in Search results, Google will automatically display it Like this.

For internal pages, I would then add Brand name at the end.

Shop for Unicorn Tears - ABC

    Hope that makes sense now
  • Tech Blog Corner: yes +Tim Capper you are right only for the title of the pages. but my question is "can we use ABC in page description, as it already present in domain name" ? i hope i am right this time to explain you my question
  • Tim Capper: Yes

If it reads well and entices the user to click on the page, then their is no reason not to
  • Ryan Cramer: A few months ago, I was working on a site and got it ranking for all their key terms.  ;However, the client was upset because they did not show up for their own domain name.  ;I added the domain name to the meta description and keywords and they started showing up.  ;I guess if you are looking for domain or brand recognition, you need to treat it just like you would any other keyword for placement. In other words, just having the domain does not mean it automatically will place for that search phrase.
