  • William Jack: Hi, I am working on a website www.cambroboilers(dot)com.au

  • Devin Peterson: Remove your link. Change the . in .com and make it (dot)com
  • William Jack: Its an Australian project.
    I need ranking in google.com.au
  • Jim Munro: What Devin means, +William Jack ;, is that you are welcome here but links to your site are not. Please deactivate it like this: ;www.cambroboilers(dot)com.au so that we can begin to address your question.
  • William Jack: +Jim Munro I have done.
  • Devin Peterson: +William Jack ;Your site seems very well designed. There are always a million small things you can do to optimize performance. I've worked in niches similar to this and it seems like an adwords campaign for this type of service would prove very effective.

If you want at least one piece of SEO advice, I'd suggest removing the h1 tag from the word "blog" on your blog. Make the current h2 tags into the h1 and complete the appropriate hierarchy of h tags.

There's more where that came from.
  • Jim Munro: I am not an expert, William, but I think it might help to build on this page linked below. You might also happen across potential clients via social.

;+Tim Capper ;might guide you to choosing the best type of Google Local page for your circumstances and somehow trigger a knowledge graph in search results . It's a black art. :)

  • Devin Peterson: If you can, remove the links in the footer that link to Zeemo.
  • William Jack: But how it can be effect with ranking??
  • Jim Munro: I'm not sure whether it will affect your ranking or not, William, but is a scuzzy thing for them to do. It's a pair of site-wide footer links, one targeting "SEO" and the other targetting "web design". At least you should make them nofollow.
  • Tim Capper: +William Jack ;, talking of rankings, your blog posts do well for long tail. ;

Talking of blog, i would have rel=author for michael attched to blog posts and also Related Article snippets.

Connect your Google+ Local page to your site with rel=publisher.

Also i would get some posts on there, to show some form of engagement.

Then you can optimise google local pages now, bold your name, add links to your internal product landing pages (boilers, radiators, etc)

Add your email and get this verified.

Get yourself onto all the diy forums and start answering questions - dont spam, use michaels name , you can ref his google+ page and cambro google+ page.

Use questions from these and answer them on your blog or google+ page (Google + is indexable)

In a nut shell the site just needs to be marketed online, creating authority signals
